We help you select seatings that are BIFMA-rated, specified by seat depth range, seat-height range, lumbar adjustability and armrest configuration
01 / Task & Ergonomic Chairs
Task & Ergonomic Chairs
The task chair is the most used piece of furniture in any office and the one that carries the most specification complexity. A chair that looks ergonomic is not the same as one that performs ergonomically across different body types, shift lengths and seating postures.
BIFMA commercial durability standards – load-rated for daily professional use. Mechanism warranties typically run 5 to 12 years on commercial-grade product
Seat depth range: typically 17–20 inches to accommodate different body types
Seat-height range confirmed against the desk or workstation it will pair with
Back height and lumbar adjustability specified relative to the occupant profile
Armrest configuration and base material confirmed before ordering
Fabric and finish selections (commercial-grade mesh, upholstered options, antimicrobial vinyl for healthcare environments) confirmed during specification
02 / Executive & Conference Chairs
Executive & Conference Chairs
High-back executive design: Built for comfort and presence during long hours in a private office
Premium upholstery: Full-grain leather or premium vinyl for executive chairs, chosen for the quality it signals
Polished aluminum bases: The standard finish for executive seating
Executive suite coordination: Chairs specified alongside the desk suite, so every piece in the room is confirmed before anything gets ordered
Matching conference sets: Same fabric, same base, same seat height across the whole table, whether it’s 8, 12, or 20 chairs
Seat height confirmed against the table: Clearance varies by table thickness and leg style, so we check the fit in advance
03 / Guest & Side Chairs
Guest & Side Chairs
Guest chairs are seen before a meeting begins: a candidate in your reception area, a client waiting outside a conference room, a visitor in a private office. The guest chair is their first physical experience of your space.
Contact-surface durability for high-traffic environments
Stackability where floor space is at a premium
Design coherence with the broader fit-out – the guest chair in a private office should belong to the same design language as the rest of the room
Visual weight appropriate to the environment – reception, private office, conference room entry
Lounge & Soft Seating
Lounge & Soft Seating
Lounge seating has expanded from break room furniture into a primary specification category for collaboration zones, informal meeting areas and social spaces, as workplace design has moved toward activity-based environments designed for different modes of work.
Individual lounge chairs, sofas and ottomans
Modular systems with linking connectors – one furniture program, multiple layouts
Seat height options: lower lounge seating for relaxation and social zones. Café-height options for informal work at standing-height tables
05 / Stacking & Training Room Chairs
Stacking & Training Room Chairs
Stacking and training room seating solves a specific problem: a space that needs to function as a meeting room and a storage-efficient flexible area. The specification priority is stack height and storage footprint.
Polypropylene shell stackers – high-volume multi-use environments. Stacks 8+ high, rolls on a dolly to storage
Upholstered seat-and-back stackers – training rooms where occupants sit for extended periods
Ganging-connector chairs – auditorium-style rows
Wire management and tablet-arm configurations for training environments where connectivity is required at every seat
06 / Specialty Seating
Specialty Seating
Not every commercial seating requirement fits a standard office catalog. TNT specifies seating for environments with performance requirements that go beyond the task-chair specification and the criteria are addressed at the specification stage.
Healthcare seating: Patient chairs, caregiver seating, bariatric options and treatment-height chairs. Materials chosen to hold up under hospital-grade cleaning. Arm and seat height checked to support safe patient transfers. We’ve worked with hospitals, outpatient clinics, dental practices and medical offices
Education seating: Stackable, gangable and tablet-arm chairs built for flexibility. Sized appropriately from K–12 through higher education. Built tough enough for the daily wear of a school environment
Industrial and laboratory seating: Height-adjustable stools, ESD-rated options and materials suited to cleanroom environments
Hospitality and multifamily seating: Custom upholstery through our specification process, with customer’s own material (COM) available on most lounge and side chairs
