The Problems We Solve for General Contractors

  • Furniture sits on your critical path

When product ships straight to site, one missed delivery window holds up the schedule. We receive and store everything at our Charlotte warehouse, then deliver to the confirmed install milestone.

  • Damage and shortages show up on delivery day

Finding a crushed crate or a missing item at the dock costs you time with the client watching. We inspect every shipment against the spec at our warehouse, so problems are corrected before anything reaches your site.

  • Third-party installers don’t answer to your schedule

When installation is subcontracted out, you’re chasing someone else’s crew and calendar. Our own installers and fleet work to the date we confirmed with your PM.

  • Communication goes quiet when it matters

A furniture sub who disappears until delivery day leaves you guessing. Our PM stays in direct contact with yours, covering lead times, site access and install dates, so there are no surprises.

  • Lead times collide with the construction schedule

Long-lead items surface late and throw off the sequence. We confirm manufacturer lead times at quote stage and flag risks early. Being open-line, we can source to the spec or find alternatives quickly when timing is tight.

  • Substitutions and spec drift

Dealers tied to one manufacturer push house brands when the spec gets difficult. We source from 200+ suppliers and execute the spec as written.

  • Open items linger after install

Punch-list items left hanging delay close-out and irritate the client. We resolve them before project close-out, so you aren’t chasing us after the crew has left.

Our Process

From FF&E Spec to Punch-List Close-Out: How TNT Works with Your Schedule

1

Consultation

Send us the drawings, FF&E schedule and site access information. We can start from the package as it stands, even if it isn't final, so long-lead items get flagged early. If the furniture layout is still moving, our team can support space planning so quantities and placement match the floor plan and the tenant's office needs.

2

Spect Review & Quote

Our team reviews the specification, confirms current manufacturer lead times and flags any items that put your schedule at risk. Large and custom pieces such as conference tables are often the longest lead items, so we check them first. You get a procurement and installation quote with lead times confirmed, so you can plan around real dates.

3

Procurement

We place the orders and receive all new furniture at the TNT warehouse, where it is inspected against the spec. Damage, shortages and wrong-item errors are caught and corrected before anything reaches your site, not on delivery day.

4

Deadline Confirmation

Our project management team communicates the confirmed install milestone to your PM and coordinates site access, including delivery windows, elevator or dock reservations and sequencing with other trades. Everyone works from the same date.

5

Delivery & Installation

On the confirmed date, our own crew and fleet handle delivery and office furniture installation. There is no third-party installer or carrier in the chain, so the schedule you agreed to is the schedule we work to.

6

Closing out the punch list

Punch-list items are resolved before project close-out. TNT does not leave open items for the GC to chase.
